Joyce's big sister Amina wants a part-time job she can do in the afternoon after school and at the weekend. She goes to the clothes shop to ask about the sales assistant job.
Rebekah: Good morning, how can I help you?
Amina: Good morning. I would like to apply for the job I saw in the newspaper yesterday.
Rebekah: Oh, yes. My name is Rebekah and I'm the assistant manager. Have you got any questions?
Amina: How many hours do I have to work if I get the job?
Rebekah: 12 hours per week.
Amina: And how many days per week will have to work?
Rebekah: Three or four days per week plus every second Saturday.
Amina: Must I wear a uniform?
Rebekah: No, but you must wear shirts from our shop.
Amina: Must I pay for them?
Rebekah: No, we give the shirts to our staff.
Amina: How do I apply for this job?
Rebekah: You can leave your application with me and we will invite people for interviews with the manager next week.
Amina: Thank you very much. Here’s my application. You will find my phone number and address there if you want to contact me.
Rebekah: See you next week then. Bye!
