Joyce’s sister Amina is 17. Amina has a blog on the internet. On the blog she writes about her daily life, what she likes and what she doesn’t like. 

Because Amina will leave school next year, she is thinking about her future and is writing a blog entry about it.

Hi friends 😊

How are you?

I‘m fine but at school it is very busy right now. At the moment we're talking a lot about our final exams next year and the time after the exams.
I will be very sad when school is over. But I will be very proud, too, because I started school in Nigeria and now I will finish it here in Adderbury.

Today, I would like to tell you about my ideas for my future.

When I was little, I wanted to be doctor, because I like to help people. My favourite subject in school is Biology. But I am not sure, if I want to go to university for so many years. That is why I am thinking about other jobs I can do, too.

As you know I like cooking very much 😊

Maybe I will do an apprenticeship to become a cook. I know, working as a cook can be hard, because you have to work in the evening, too. But I think I will be a good cook, because I am very creative and I like to try out a lot of new recipes. 

My grandma loves this plan. I like cooking with her and she teaches me to cook traditional Nigerian food. Maybe I will have my own restaurant.
